| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| I think ExtraTerrestrial Life has to exist, but I am uncertain about if or when humans will encounter it. I'd love for it to be during my lifetime, but I do feel that's unlikely. I think we should transmit something for others to find, something math-based - but that's about all I can think of. =P I run SETI@Home because it makes my computers productive in my absence, and I am helping a large Distributed Computing Computer Science project! There's also a remote chance that I might find something incredible . . . I want my screen to look like the one on the welcome page which shows the signal! =P |
