Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1.
I really think extraterrestrial life exists, but considering the enormous vastity of the universe it will became a hard work to find it.

About the possible benefits or dangers of discovering extraterrestrial life, both will be really big, but I think we should try it. Probably the benefits will be bigger than the dangers.

2.
Yes, of course, we have to consider that intelligent life could exist, and we ought to make us known.
The information should be anything simple to discover to anyone capable to receive it. Considering radio signals, a possible thing to transmit could be the Fibonacci's serie or something similar, repeated, to create a patron.

3.
I think it will be a great thing to find extraterrestrial life, and as I, alone, have no means or knowledge to find it, in this way I can help.
It's a labour of all to find new life forms and SETI is a great way to do it, because at the same time you have the power of computation that no stand-alone computer has, and people like me is allowed to help.
