I would be supprised if extraterrestrial like does not exist, but when they are found the chances of actually meeting them using our currrent technology would be impossible.
A beacon transmitting basic information about earth, and how it is made up using binary signals would probably be the simplist way of announcing our presence.
I think that the project is a brilliant way of using my computer when I'm not! |
