I am from Louisville KY. I am 37 years old. I enjoy biking, hiking and swimming. I am married and have been for 10 years.
I work in the Security Industry. I work for a medium sized family owned business. We do Video Surveillance and Access control. It’s no secret that small business owners are falling off the face of the earth. Our economy seems to be in a constant state of flux.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
The SETI at home program gives us a great chance to be a part of something larger than ourselves. The program is well organized and easy to be a part of. I enjoy the sense of community it offers. The whole idea behind it is quite intriguing. Wouldn’t it be great to find out that we are not alone? The best part is that we may run across a civilization that did not let themselves fall off track, the way we seem to have done lately. Maybe just the knowledge they are out there would inspire us to do better and be more respectful of those that are different from us. More importantly to respect the beliefs of others that do not think exactly like us.
