Personal background
Hi, Im Dylan, I come from Winchester, in the UK, I'M 21, male and i currently study computer science. I love space. And always wanted to be an astonaught but after getting a "B" at GCSE level and then a "D" at A-level physics, my hopes were dashed. So i decided to get into the computing industry and try my luck at getting into some kind of space project as a programmer.

One day i wil realise my dreams but for now..i want to find ET :o)

Cheers
Dylan
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. Yep i think ET life has to exist, there are too many solar systems out there for there not too be any other life. Discovery, well if they are advanced then that will be up to them... otherwise i dont know we could be 20, 40 100, 1000 years. Benefits would be new technology and other great things like the start of a space explorartion stance with the new technology..Dangers well new virus and bugs and nasty things from the gene pool.

2.Yep we should let them know that we are here, anything with captivates being human :o)

3. I want to find a space man. Also because of the low level of funding the department gets then it needs all the help it can get :o). The project is great, but needs to make the data a little more readable to the human eye. then again my computers running it so fast that i dont have chance to understand whats there anyway :o)
