Personal background
I was born in 1971 in Cheshire, England. I am currently a manager in a leading computer superstore chain, but I don't get much chance to work with computers anymore. However, once at home I have a 3 PC network running. My first PC is set up for gaming, internet and music. It is an Athlon 2400 running at a somewhat higher that usual speed, with a watercooling kit and several 120mm fans to keep the whole affair nice and cool. My second machine is an Athlon 2600 and is used primarily for email and Microsoft Office work. My final PC is an T-Bird 1333 setup mounted to the wall, along with the PSU and hard drive. Its kind of a work of art, but also runs Seti. All 3 machines run Seti 24 hours per day.

Aside from an unhealthy obsession with PC tweaking I also play paintball (used to play tournaments but it all got too serious) and I am a big fan of motor sport. The picture is not of me, but she is a damn sight more attractive than I am, so I thought you might prefer that.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I believe. And why not?

I have seen many strange things, some "e.t." and some supernatural (maybe). I have no doubt that as yet we know little and understand less, so that which we do not know can not be denied until we know that it is not. Yes, that was deep. Also, when I was young there was a strange man who lived on our street, and all the kids said he was an alien, so it must be true.

Contact might be good, e.t. life may be benevolent and benneficial, or they could be all conquering.

I run Seti because I want to know.
