Well, a few of my favorite pastimes are consuming mad amounts of coffee, practicing graphic art (well, more like doodling) using inks, pencil, or charcoal. I recently started experimenting with crayon and watercolors and I was pretty surprised at the amount of detail they allow you to take advantage of.. I somehow missed that fact when I was a kid.. which is the last time I used either.
I like talking to new people, especially interesting people, or folks who might consider themselves 'a little out there'.. I hate sleep. I'd try to avoid sleep at any cost, if sleep ever came easy. I just lie in bed for hours, and I get a general feeling of foreboading.. when I dream, I have nightmares, most of the time I don't remember what they were about.. so when I do sleep, I never sleep for very long. Sometimes when I wake, I feel the need to shout as loud as I can, just to let the world know that it still hasn't beaten me into submission.
I love playing, writing, performing and doing pretty much anything else having to do with music. Right now I can play guitar, trumpet (along with a lot of other classical brass instruments), drums, bass, banjo, violin and bagpipes.. the last two I'm just now learning. (yikes!) When there's not much going on, I'll usually round up some friends and head to one of the many, many pubs around for a couple pitchers and some darts. I feel all fancy now that I have my own dart set, but my new darts don't make a beer-influenced game of Cricket any easier. |

| I personally think life exists somewhere out there. As to whether or not aliens have visited Earth, I'd say no. I don't believe in conspiracy theories, and I don't believe people that say they've had any contact with aliens. I like the SETI program, though, and I'm all up for lending my computer's downtime to searching for junk out there in the cold vacuum of space. woot! |
