Background: Government Contractor living in the Northern, VA area. I'm 33, formerly from NY and I've been in this area since 1994. Law Enforcement was my previous occupation for 9 years until I found myself being drawn into the Contractor sector.
Interests: Life beyond our planet, anything Sci-Fi related and my 3 year old Niece.

Why do you run SETI@home?
I run SETI@home because I feel like many others out there and believe that there is life beyond our planet. By participating in this project I also hope that there would be a possibility of discovering life within my lifetime.
Thoughts about ETI:
I'm an Optimist and I don't see how it can be possible that we are the only intelligent life in the Universe. When you stop to think that Scientist are still finding new species on our own planet and that we've only explored a minute portion of our oceans, the possibility of life elsewhere just increases.
