Personal background
Jason Genser has more than ten years of extensive hands-on experience with personal computers, networks and the technical support arena. Genser is a CompTIA A certified professional who also holds a number of Microsoft Windows-related certifications from brainbench.com, a vendor-independent certification authority. He is also a certified Microsoft Systems Management Server 2.0 Administrator. A native and life-long resident of central New Jersey, Genser has designed, documented, implemented and maintained the architecture of an SMS 2.0 infrastructure for a subsidiary of Cingular Wireless. He has also used SMS and other ancillary software to implement custom solutions to meet corporate objectives and increase the value of using SMS 2.0 as an inventory and management technology.

Genser has worked as a Technical Editor on TCP/IP Unleashed - 2nd Edition (SAMS, 1999), Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional Unleashed (SAMS, 2000) and Microsoft Windows 2000 Server Unleashed (SAMS, 2000) and as a Contributing Author on Peter Norton's Complete Guide to Microsoft Windows 2000 Server (SAMS, 2000). Additionally, Genser worked for more than five years in the graphic design field prior to the advent of desktop publishing.

Currently, Genser, an avid science fiction and alternative music enthusiast, is working as a freelance consultant specializing in systems management and software deployment solutions for small and medium sized businesses and pursuing additional industry certifications.
