Well, lookey here.
My name is Kent, and I just started using the PowerPC - Darwin1.2 command line UNIX client these past few months.
Before using that, I did the first 45 or so work units using the Classic MacOS, and one or two on a WinME system that was abhorrently slow. Ick. And I mean SLOW.
This was despite having 700 MHz AMD Duron processor. I don't get it. My poor little PPC 400MHz G3 in my Mac is nearly twice as fast.
*shrugs*
Oh well.
But anyway, happy crunching!
