I'm a 20 year old Network engineer working with a small network/security company. I currently have seti screen saver running on two home pc's (winxp 1.1ghz 512mb ram, Redhat Linux 7.2 p200mhz 64mb). I am planning to install seti on machines in work once i get permission from my boss!
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Cool project, i thought i should do my bit since i am surrounded by a lot of machines using few cpu cyles..so why not?
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
