Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
ET's are around us alot more than what we would like to believe I just wish the goverment would tell us the TRUTH! The biggest problem is that media has always had a battel aspect to it. How do we know that the ET's out there are comming to take us over? We dont. But we also cannot deny the fact that it is possiable that we could have to stage a defensive of some sort against a probable more advanced entity. Are we ready for that? I think not! At this time there is not the weponary to do such a thing nor spaceships capible of the kind of manuvering you would need to fight in space. Or do we? We dont know that ither, the goverment will not tell us. Should they? I belive so. We would be better of to start preparing now to be ready for ither end of the spectrum when it comes to contact. Sending a becon at this time of course a peace full messagge of some kind would be a good thing. If the aliens could read our signals that we can send from earth. Mabey our transmition systems are not in existance anywhere in the universe besides her on earth, possibly becouse they are a terriable way to transmit. Who knows? Someone does. I just wish they would tell me.
