Hi my name is Bennie Ball and i am a computer technitian / web page designer.
I work for Connix Office Automation (JHB) South Africa for 5 years now and i've been running SETI for a bit longer than 1 year now. I find this project very exciting and hope to descover a signal of extra terrestrial intelligence.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I do think that there is life out there it's just a matter of time before we find it. Just how long it will take i don't know. If we do descover higher intellegence then i think thier technology migh be of great importance to our (transport, medical, etc)studies. Who knows they might even be able to help us find a cure for the common cold (Its been round for so long and we still don't really have a cure for that).
Lastly i am very honoured to patricipate in such a big project.
