Profile: Sixty One

Personal background
I'm from the old south, but I've been around a lot chasing airplanes in my career as an aircraft inspector. I'm old enough to know better, and to remember the Ranger spacecraft crashing into the moon on live Black and White TV.

I enjoy photography, tinkering with cars, computers, and home security systems. I also spend a lot of time doing old home renovations (maybe this last one is an obsession).
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think it would be a terrible waste of space if we are the only ones making waves in the electromagnetic spectrum. SETI is a very long shot, sort of like the lottery. But, you can't win if you don't play. All it takes is one!!!
