Profile: Bob Humphrey

Personal background
Retired Network Software Manager. Now trying to do the things I always wanted to do, but couldn't find the time or inclination in the past. Not as easy at it sounds. You have to work at this retirement lark.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Firstly, what a fabulous idea. All those CPU cycles going to waste and all these data to analyse; it's one of those "why didn't I think of that?" ideas.
Secondly, what better project than to have millions of humans trying to find our neighbours. If that isn't being friendly, then what is?
Finally, don't assume that just because nothing has been found yet that contact has not been made. You never know whose watching.
