I would describe myself as a hopeful skeptic regarding finding ET life.
I just discovered this @home project and immediately got it running on all four of our computers - two PC's, two Mac's.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Is there any way to make the data units smaller? I have had four fairly powerful home computers running continuously for 24 hours and I've only processed about 5 units. Psychologically it would be more satisfying for users to be able to get more bang for their buck more quickly.
