| SETI is an opportunity for anyone with a computer and a phone to be part of the greatest discovery in the history of humankind. The scope of this search seems far too limited in its current state to reveal anything of significance, however this project is the nucleation point for the future. When we finally reach out physically to the other stars and other planets the search must continue! As new forms of communication technology are discovered the search must broaden! Nothing would better serve to quell human conceit and arrogance then an intelligence that’s older, wiser, and more advanced then us, especially if more intolerant members of our species were “shown the lightâ€. |
