Profile: David Busch [ET -- Phone ME]

Personal background
World's most successful unknown author, with 72 books and 2500 articles published so far. Fortunate enough to have been a juvenile when Heinlein was writing his juvenile SF books (imagine seeing this new book, "Citizen of the Galaxy" appear on the shelves!); and a young adult when the Grandmaster's best work (e.g. "The Moon is a Harsh Mistress") was published. Heinlein, Asimov, Cordwainer Smith, Astounding, Galaxy, F&SF et al hooked me on science fiction and space.
Dedicated Heinlein maniac to this day. Proud owner of pulps containing the first appearance of virtually every Heinlein short story and novel (even the Boys' Lifes and Sat Eve Posts); Lucky Bag, his Annapolis yearbook; all the first and early hardcover editions I could afford, and one autographed copy of "Friday". Favorites: "The Moon is a Harsh Mistress"; "Door Into Summer"; "Double Star"; "Sixth Column."
