Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I believe that we can't be a unique exception in this universe. Too much of a fluke to believe that we're the only ones in the Universe. I wouldn't know how or when we would meet these other races, but if they are there, we'll find 'em. I feel that it's a little too early for us to find extraterrestrial life due to conflicts that are happening today. Meeting something that isn't from your own piece of rock is no easy task. We've got to be in the right mindset first before attempting to make contact. Although saying that, the knowledge of other races in space may unify us. Who's to say? Only time will tell.

As with the project, I think that if we are going to look for life among the stars, then we might as well do it any way we can. Can't go in half-cocked. ;)
