Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I believe that extraterrestrial live does exist. Humans may or may not discover extraterrestrial life. If extraterrestrial life is smarter than us, then they may not want us to find them, or they may be a primitive species which has not yet developed any technologies.

I think that we should transmit a beacon for other life to find. They may not ever find it, but it is one step closer to us finding them, or them locating us. I have no idea what information we should send out in the beacon, we should probably send information about where our planet is and some information about it.

I run the SETI@home project because I think that it is a good way to use all of those idle CPU cycles. I think that everyone in the world with a computer should join a project which utilize peoples idle CPU time.
