Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
As to there being extraterrestrial life, I feel that the human race is being a little shorted sighted if not arogent if it thinks that we are the only intelegant life form in the universe. The other question is of course will we ever recieve such a transmission and if we do will we be able to communicate with them in our life time. I feel with the current technology we have at present the answer will be no. But if you had told my great great grandmother about television or man walking on the moon she would never of believed me. So technology is advancing at a fantastic pace so what we cant do now we will almos certantly be able to do in the future.

As for the project I take pride in the small contribution that I can make and hope that one day we will have the answer. But if not it was great fun helping out and meeting new friends.
