Don't know really why I run Seti@home. Every now and then I pull the plug on Seti, but then after a while I start to receive new tasks. Maybe I miss the sound of computer going full throttle.
Do I think Seti will find first ExTerra signal? With present form of searching, I think there is very little chance that signal might be captured. I guess there's very little we know about what's happening with EM-signals going through bow and termination shock at border of our solar system. Colliding electrons and protons might be workig as kind of a filter and turn low power signals to random fluctuation or refract the signal to various freq. or amplitude.
