Personal background
First of I'm 29 and from the United States. I say that because I do a lot of traveling. I mean a lot. Within the past few years I've been In Morocco to Europe, to the Carabbean and to Australia. Now I'm in Florida living, and getting ready to move on back to Australia.
My occupation is simple. I do private contracts for companies that need to either rebuild or intergrate their networks. Also for times sake I work at either sailboats, traveling the ocean or bartending and meeting interesting people, even at times I meet some VIP's and people like that.
As for hobbies, well I like almost everything to do with the outdoors, sailing skiing, snowboarding, biking, hiking, camping, etc... I like to paint, do computer programmings, etc, too...
Well about my involvement with SETI at home, I'm an amature and hope to get into this a lot. There is something out there.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Well I'll follow the question above, since they are there.

1. I trully believe that there is life out there. I mean the whole universe is just too immense just for us alone to live in. All the science I've learned does lean to a possible other life out in the universe. When the time is right, we will discover other forms of being. The how part, well ... Bebefits of such a contact would be, for one a world unity, a better understanding of each other here on Earth, and a better society. Though the dangers are always there to make such accomplishments impopssible. New technologies, such as warfare, and new ways of controlling others (politics, heheee)

2. It's human nature for discoveries. Ofcorse we should send out a beacon for others to find. It'll show that us as a human race can accomplish such task, and in a way work together to do so. On the topic that we should send out, well something like our history and accomplishments, and language, music, art, and things of that matter. To show that we are magnificant in the arts and very proud of some of our accomplishments.

3. I just started to run this program at home. It looks very promissing, and a very good idea. A lot of compupters out there! As for my views, well I'm all exited about it, thats for sure.
