Personal background
I lived almost all my life in Huntsville Alabama, NASA and the space
program have always been a big part of my life.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. I do you think extraterrestrial life exists, but space and time are so big that contact since man has existed on earth is remote. The benefits and dangers of such a discovery are incomprehensible.

2. Yes we should transmit a beacon for others to find. It is our nature to grow intellectually, spiritually, and physically. The information we send is subject to much controversy. I'll leave it up to the experts.

3. I run SETI@home because I like to keep my computer busy when I'm not using it. I think the SETI@home project is a great way to tap all the unused computer resources. Keep up the great work!
