Personal background
Greetings and from New Zealand. My name is Stephen Hutton. The PC that does all the work is called Angel. Thats her picture. She works all day and night via Jetstream ADSL.
I am of the firm belief that:
"Yes, a whole range of recognisable life forms, and other entities, that we have no name or rational description for, exist outside our current field of observation.
On many levels, dimensions and planes.
However, this particular search, with SETI, is irreistable, as it is focused and achievable.
As the sci-fi industry has proven over the years, that anything that they can dream up, comes true eventually. Now, I hear that Transporters are demonstratable. (laser and radio signals across the lab)
So, why not all the drivers (and Communications Officers) of these wonderful Starships we see on TV, and planetary noise, such as our own.
I'm positive it's out there.
But when I look at the breadth and depth of the scan that we are undertaking, it seems like a needle in a haystack.
Though a noble effort.
So, Angel labours on, day and night. And maybe, we might even find Birdsong....
(from the book - "Sparrow" by Mary Doria Russell)
Keep listening...
