| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

Does extraterrestrial life exist? Who knows. I certainly don't. Regardless, this is somewhat interesting. Just waiting to see what happens of one of the sets processed on my machine finds a hint of something. Does it blink? Does it say "connect, quick ... you gotta hit!" Does it do nothing and we get no indication that something worth further investigation has been noted?
Why not transmit a beacon? Send location, Heck, send whatever your heart desires!
I run SETI just because I do. Probably more because the group I belong to has set up a club ... |
