I got the information about SETI@home from the Astronomical Society Baden,
where I'm member.
The question of extraterrestrial intelligence is one of the fundamental
questions of most of us. It's therefore a cultural task to search after
extraterrestrials. It will be hard to have success, but this makes the job
interesting. Progress of mankind will be reached by challenges.
I regard the possibility of the existence of extraterrestrial intelligence
as high. Whenever they exist, we should get into contact with them. This is a
demand of our archetypical curiosity. |
