Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Why do you run SETI@home?
I run SETI@home because I feel it's a unique and worthwhile project/experiment.
I'm also fond of the potential teamwork aspect of a project like this.

Thoughts about ETI
Briefly, I do believe ET's exist and are probably already monitoring Earth and other terrestrial phenomena of interest.
Perhaps when "we" have a better understanding of what to look for, and implement some additional methods of looking, "they" might be inclined to let "us" find "them".
Do we want this? Is it dangerous? I don't think it matters. We simply have no choice or place to hide.
And indeed, should we be afraid? And if we are to be afraid, what exactly is it that we are to fear? Ourselves perhaps?

Anyway, these are just thoughts ... subject to change without notice. :)
