Hello !
I am ( parseDate(now() - "03December1977") ) years old from France; I was born in Argentina where I lived until I got 18 years old ... Now I live in Paris, and work as a software developper on a eLearning company. I write lot of javascript, love mozilla a lot, use Gentoo Linux as workstation and at home ... When I saw CPU at 100% and my room warming up, I decided to install seti and have it day and night at 100%.... yeah, weather is kind of cold here ....
I like a lot to ride by Paris with my bike, listening to some Sepultura music or stuff like that ... sometimes even singing "roooooooottsss blooooooooooody rooooooooooooots!!" .... I play lot of music with some friends; we like to play bossa nova, jazz, mambo and all those nice musics ... but we end our songs on reggae rythmics, dont know why :-) . I play percussions and some guitar and bass guitar ... I recently bought a "cajon", a box, and have lot of fun with it !
Well about seti all I can tell is that I put 5 pc's to work and it is going well, maybe one day I'll find an E.T. and will go on holiday somewhere on the universe :)
well c ya people have good luck !

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
|---|
1 - Mathematically I guess extraterrestrial life exists if we "admit" that universe is infinite. I hope I will be alive to see humans finding some out there ... I am sure they are gonna be really nice.
2 - I think human should make some signs so the dudes see us here .... maybe with lot of light or something like that like redirecting sun's light ... maybe we could also make some planet explose with some nucelar weapon or something, but maybe the e.t.'s will be scared .... well I dont really know how to make them a sign ...
3 - seti@home is nice, I used to play civilization when I was younger and by doing the seti program we could win the game ... anyway I think that all this cpu power should also be used for other scientifics research, maybe medical, or something !
Hope you will find something to do with it .... |
