Personal background
I'm 16 year old Junior at Hackleburg High School in Hackleburg,Alabama. I'm generally geeky, and internet addicted. I currently have no job aside from burning CDs for people.I've also developed Pepsi(r) addiction that I probably will not try to get rid of untill it becomes a major health problem.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I do believe that extraterrestrials exist/have existed.Though I sadly, also believe that they will not be discovered in my lifetime. The major benefit to the discovery would be the exchange of technology between the two species,if they've of we have developed/evolved to a point that we can communicate with with each other.

Yes, I do think we should trasmit a beacon, due to the fact that searching for theirs is a major part of the Seti project. The information sent should be a general listing of our discoverys about ourselves(ex. The Periodic Table, Human Genome, Location in the Universe).

I run seti@home to help the rest of humanity in the finding of extraterretrials. And it helps me to believe that I'm making a difference. It is a very good project, but I think it hasn't been broadcasted enough to the rest of the world.I think it needs more users, more advertising.
