I work in IT currently and think that we are not alone out there. I am very much a fan of Sci-Fi and have a wide array of hobbies.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run SETI@home because there is a slim chance that we might find something on those frequencies. However i feel that any true race capable of space travel on the scale we are hoping to find will use a different form of communication. Such as Quantum entangled communication system or some form of subatomic waveform tunneling which tends to break the laws of physics as we know it.
