Personal background
Hello,
I am the single mom of two girls ages 13 & 16.
I am recently separated, so we are learning how to be just "us".
My oldest daughter is multi-handicapped with a genetic disorder called 18Q-.
We live in SouthEast GA, and this is the only place I truly would ever want to live.
I love to garden, cook, play online games, and getting out to meet new people.
I am still very new at being "single" so do not get out much.
We love to travel, but always look forward to coming home.
My youngest daughter is very active in school and she loves Sunday school also.
My oldest adores school, loves to work on her computer, watch TV, and ride her adult tricycle.
I am enjoying getting back to work with SETI, and I look forward to helping a lot more now that I have upgraded to a bit better computer.
Take care,
Margaret Collins Pritchett
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home....
1. Yes, I am not so one-sided or ego-minded that we as earthlings could be the only lifeform within the zillions of universes.
A. I do not know how or when, but I do believe that it will be on the terms of the other lifeform.
B. I believe that we will learn massive medical advancements, and the abilities of travel.

2. I do believe that we should transmit a beacon of some type. We need to be as interested in finding other lifeforms as we are in discovering as much as we can about our own world.
A. I am unsure as to what type of information we should send, but I do believe that a "universal" message of peace should be thought of. For me, this would be some type of music based message.

3. I run SETI@home, because it is the only way I know of to possibly be of some help.
A. I do not honestly know if this project will work, but I am willing to always try.
B. No suggestions as of yet, but if I think of any, I will pass them forward.
