Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. Yes I think extraterrestrial life exists....how can we be the only form of life in such a huge universe.
The benefits of discovery would probably be unimagineable and the dangers would be our own destruction.
2. Yes we should transmit....firsly I would transmit a key to our language and way of communication, secondly I would transmit the preferred way of replying to us(something we can easily monitor)....but I wouldn't send to much about ourselves.
