| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| Does life on other planets exist? To think it's not and we are the center of the universe is silly. Ther has to be other beings out there, we just haven't found them yet. Wonder if they found us yet? I don't think we should go asking for trouble on the other hand. We should find it or let it find us thru more methods instead of going out to a species that doesn't talk our lkangauge and possibly getting them angry before we shake hands. And personally I run seti on 5 machines in my office, i think the project has much merit, and just not only in the sedarch ofr ET. I think the concept of using a network of computers will be the wave of the future on many projects and Seti is jsut the beginning. |
