Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I was a big fan of Carl Sagan and the original television show Comos. I totally believe there is intelligent life out there, the Universe is just too big for there not to be. Will any intelligent life be peaceful, I have no idea. I know many think that a space faring society has to be peaceful but I think that is a very naive idea. There is just as likely chance to run into a peaceful race as to run into a very violent race, and just because a race is peaceful with it's own does not guarantee it will be peaceful with others. I still think it is better to know what is out there then to hide your head in the sand. Space is our future and can solve some of our problems we have on this planet.
