An experienced Army Officer with a passion for astronomy and space sciences. Originally from Northern Ireland, I have been a serviceman for 30 years to date. At the age of 48 I have decided to call it a day in uniform and will become a civilian in 2019. My hobbies include astrophotography, hiking and SCUBA.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I have and always will be a firm believer that our future is out among the cosmos. I have always been a keen advocate of SETI and have often wondered are we alone in all this vastness. If you don't look or listen, how will you ever know? SETI@home is a viable project that lets us all get involved and for that I am extremely thankful to those talented individuals who first thought of the concept. Genius!
