My name is Vincenzo,
I'm studying as an Informatic Engeneer (Computer Science actually in US terms) at the University of Catania; right now I'm working on my final thesis work in a company near Boston, dealing hardly with all the latest programming technologies for OPC Servers and Control Automation.
I usually live in Catania, in the sunny Sicily in the very south of Italy, except when I travel abroad as in this case, till November 2001.

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I'm a "Seti@Home runner" since a long time, almost since the very beginning, right after the beta release. I run it as much I can, wherever I can, on all the machines that I work on. Why? Basically for sake of curiosity... there must be someone else out there, isn't it? Maybe yes, maybe not, but to discover it there is only a chance : ANALIZE ANALIZE ANALIZE...
...obviously, if in the next future there is a way to turn my mobile phone into a space-call transmitters I would surelly agree and join the program, even because it may mean to have probably cheap VERY long distance call ! :D
