Personal background
Greetings,
I'm borne in the year 1984. I'm from Malaysia; give yourself a big hand if you know where Malaysia is, and for those who went to search the atlas...kudos on your good faith!
Anyhow, I'm not much a Sci-Fi enthusiast, but recently I watch a documentary about the Milky Way and the universe. About our sun collapsing, before collapsing it grows many times bigger until it engulfs the earth.

It also mentioned that our galaxy is heading towards another sister galaxy named Andromeda, which will see a major collision and both galaxies merging into one. This entire phenomenon will cause extinction to earth and might create a new planet.

My hope is that earth could come to a day when the earthlings could escape from all this phenomenon, perhaps by interstellar travel or things alike, or maybe developing a new world to be inhabited or even contacting extraterrestrials that might share their wisdoms and knowledge or perhaps saving us from extinction.

I've also remembered watching a Sci-Fi show about ETs alleged "attack" on earth where "they" transmitted a signal of some sort that resembles music and it was recorded by a young boy, who coincidentally participated in something alike SETI@home. The music "changed" all the people who listened to them. Sort of like mutation; their skins changed to metallic like materials. Of course during the process there were those disgusting transformation that prompted the ppl thinking it’s an attack. But in the end, some scientist realized it’s for the good of mankind as he found out that as the sun was dying out, it transformed into a red giant and thus emitted more UVs that are harmful, causing the ozone to dissipate and thus posing threat to humankind. The "mutation" that happened to the ppl actually is to protect humankind from the UV rays.

I've had goose bumps after realizing the actual motive of the ETs.
