Personal background |
I'm 61 (born April 1956)... been interested in SciFi since I was nine and this seems a natural extension of that early interest. These days I don't get much time to indulge that sort of reading, but I am deeply curious about the vastness beyond measure of what is beyond the skin of our existence on this little planet and the magic of it all... Perhaps one day we will meet up with other forms of life and indeed life with which we can communicate. It is to be hoped that that experience works out well for us and the other(s)... I like to think that anything that can communicate in person across the barriers of space and time will, unlike some of the more brutalist foe's in SciFi, be sufficiently evolved not to behave like a "Klingon" war party... or that we would? |
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
1.Why do you run SETI@home? ---- Because would it not be amazing to know!
2. What are your views about the project? ---- I have done this before years ago but lost my username etc.... I think this is an important project, dangerous perhaps, rewarding, may be, dynamic, certainly
3. Any suggestions? ---- Keep it up SETI |
