| I am a 35 year old currently residing in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. For the past 12 years, my career has taken me across Canada and parts of the US to work on computer infrastructure projects and planning sessions. Computers have been a hobby for me as well since I was 15 years old. I grew up on a farm, so it was very unusual for kids like me to buy a computer BEFORE purchasing a car. :) |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| There is no doubt in my mind that there is life out there somewhere. Intelligent life? Probably. Intelligent life that can communicate with us during my lifetime? Not likely. So why do I run Seti@home? More for the distributed processing project than for the actual science of finding a signal. I am very excited to participate in the largest computational project in the history of humanity. I am proud to be a part of this great achievement. |
