Profile: Eric J Oszakiewski

Personal background
My name is Eric Oszakiewski and I'm from Scottsdale, AZ, United States. I'm a professional software developer for a major global automotive company, and also enjoy building software solutions on the side, with over 35 years of experience. I've been actively interested and studying weather and astronomy since I was a child, and originally joined the SETI@Home project back in 1999, but fell away for a bit.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run SETI@Home because I want to encourage every opportunity to intercept any possible communication in space from another location. I'm very interested in discovering new things with regards to astronomy and astrophysics.
I believe the project needs more attention and more participation. Greater coverage from more geographically placed radio telescopes or possibly one or more geosynchronous LEO radio telescopes and more machines processing input received.
