I am originally from Akron, Ohio, but have travelled for over two years living
in Europe (Germany, Holland, England, Holland, Austria, France, Amsterdamn, and
a few other countries outside of Europe. I have travelled about 40 states of
CONUS. I spent three years in the U.S. Army performing "security work." My hobbies
include reading great books, working on my computer, riding my Harley-Davidson
Sportster when the weather allows it. I am 59-years-old, possess a 4-year degree
in Mass Media Communications and other undergrad studies. I hope to meet new
friends through this endevour.

I am excitied about participating in SETI@HOME and am thankfor for the opportunity
to do what I can in the exciting search for whatever there is out there. I do
not believe that we are alone and I do believe that there is a generation of humans alive today who will
make "contact." I am concerned that such creatures will not be human-friendly and
caution all who set out on this great adventure. We are already sending signals into outer space so I can

project that many people can participate that ordinarily would be about to be
