| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| I do believe that ET's exist. It would be rather arrogant of us to think we are the only intelligent beings in the vastness of this or any other universe. I'm worried that if we do encounter intelligence at this point in time, we're more likely to not understand what we've found and overlook it instead. I currently have the SETI client running on all of my computers because I think it's a great idea to use shared computing to resolve problems, conduct research, locate other intelligence in space, or any other forward looking project that could help in the betterment of the human condition. |
