My name is Sam. My family and I live in Wheeling, WV. That's West Virginia the state, not western Virginia. Montani Semper Liberi. I am 42 and own several Jackson Hewitt Tax Service Offices with my lovely wife of 12 years, we have 3 children. I was formally a system analyst at a hospital, but quit in order to focus more time on our business and have time to watch my children grow up and spend time with them while they still want to spend time with me.
I think it is extremely cool that people of many faiths, political views, nationalities, etc. can put all their differences behind and unite to accomplish a project.
I have approx 50 pcs running seti@home at this time.

Do I think ET is out there ? Probably.
Do I think seti@home will find it ? Probably not, but that doesn\\'t mean we shouldn\\'t try, especially when its cost is only unused pc power.
No beacon, we have enough garbage that is probably bouncing across the universe without a beacon.
I run seti@home because I have alot of wasted CPU yime with my offices open only 1 day a week during the off-season. Feels good to use them for something.
