Personal background
Yahoo, I am now retired! I now spend all my time in my wood working shop. I've changed my web site to my wood working blog.Go look to see what I'm doing now. My wife still owns the small computer store in Jacksonville, Florida. It specializes in small business networks and custom made computers. My wife (Cooky) creates Access database software, and I was the hardware geek, now she uses hired techs. In our spare time we still provide free computers for children at local children's homes and the Veterans hospital in Lake City, Florida, using donated hardware and trade ins. (Any one care to donate?)
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
There is no reason to believe that this is the only planet in the universe to evolve intelligent life, and it is possible that there are sentient beings who are just as curious about the existance of people like us. Maybe I will be one of the ones who contribute to the discovery of fellow inhabitants of this wonderous universe.
