Avid computer, space and sciences supporter/enthusiast for over 25 yrs. Living near Richmond, Virginia USA. Hobbies include computers, music of all kinds, photography, astronomy.
Faith tells me my departed wife Mitzi is "out there, somewhere..." So I want to help eliminate all the "dead spots" so the world can hear her soft voice sing again. Does our society still know how to listen? We can help.

Been running SETI since early 1999, one of the original "Beta Testers." I believe the odds favor finding some kind of sign of "intelligent life" elsewhere, and underscore the common-senses that we are not (and cannot be) alone.
I fear the projects' scanning may be limited by it's premise that we'll find a signal within the narrow confines and assumptions of our current logic. Nevertheless, it is a noble effort of mankind...
If we someday find such intelligent life, will we consider them also to be children of GOD? I pray it is so. |
