Hi i'm Duncan.
I'm in Kingston upon Hull, UK. I'm 26 years old and the only thing I really must do is live long enough to meet an Alien. I don't care if I become demented or get Cancer, I refuse to die unless I have met an Alien lol. I run SETI@Home because I believe that Aliens do exist and that all we have to do is look hard enough.
Other than running SETI@Home with every spare ounce of processor power I own, I am also a train spotter and photographer. I am a complete nerd and love it. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I can't afford an enthusiast rig for SETI but every single spare ounce of computing power in my home is given over to it. I have my laptop, my grans old desktop and three mobile phones running SETI@home. Is not the best by a long way but, it works.
What we need to do though is to start sending more dedicated, high power signals into space for Aliens to pick up. This would in turn increase the likelihood of us receiving a signal as, perhaps someone would reply to us.
SETI needs properly funding. Perhaps setting it up as a registered charity. |
