I've always been interested in exploring how we relate to the rest of the universe. I've recently moved to Eleuthera in The Bahamas and find I have a little more time on my hands to spend on the things that really interest me. I often lay on the beach looking up at the stars and wish I could travel at the speed of the mind.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I spent a few years in India and heard there that aliens do exist but we shouldn't expect them to be friendly! I imagine that any race that is advanced enough to travel here will look at us with either loathing for the way we have wasted and trashed this beautiful planet of ours, or with compassion in the same way as a parent may view the ignorance of a child. If the latter were to happen we would be very fortunate because they may help us avoid the natural calamities I believe humans are attracting by our abuse of this gift we have been given.
