Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1 - YES, but not in any form thinkable for the human being. We think on them as radio waves or something like that, just an atom could be the difference. Only an accident or an insane and very abstract mind can discover they.
Danger? The most dangerous thing in the world, maybe universe, are the humans

2 - We don't know, but if one person think yes, go for it. We sent them an AC/DC song for the road, they can find us without help.

3 - It's a pretty way of keep busy our demo systems. We think in SETI@home as a viable project. Suggestions, give SMP parallelism to Seti.
