Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I first discovered SETI@home in 2008 when I was 10 years old. I ran it on some trashy Intel Pentium D 920 @2.80GHz and 1GB of RAM. Some time later I abandoned the project merely because I felt that my computer simply didn't pack enough punch to be able to make any significant contribution. 7 years later I received my first high-end laptop - the laptop I'm currently running SETI@home on - so I got back and continued contributing to the project with a new account.

When I first came across SETI@home, it was ultimately cool to me (and still is). I was an avid science and maths enthusiast back then, but something about this project that never fails to captivate me is its goal: discovery of extraterrestrial intelligence, which sounds really cool because it sucks to be lonely in the midst of a seemingly boundless universe.

Suggestions: Keep it running and stay awesome.
